The CSIRO confirms that ‘indoor air quality’ costs Australia $12 billion p.a. in lost productivity and illness. A major source of indoor pollution is contaminated air conditioning systems where bacteria, mould, mildew and fungus thrive. According to the National Asthma Council, 40% of Australians suffer from allergies and exposure to mould may trigger asthma.
