Taubmans and Arent&Pyke collaborate for designEX 2014 17 March 2015
Taubmans briefed Arent&Pyke to create a presence at designEX that would showcase its vast colour range, online tools including the Taubmans Colour Galaxy, and its core products, Endure and Pure Performance.
Arent&Pyke embraced the challenge and have conceived a stand that creates a landscape to truly discover the quality and immensity of the Taubmans colour offering. The stand comprises a huge blade wall of Taubmans paint brushouts, in a feathered gradation of colour, combined with mirrored surfaces creating an immersive and reflective contrast to the intensity of the coloured surface.
The brushout wall is a monumental printing effort from the colour lab at Taubmans, and over 950 A4 brushouts have been created for the stand. Every Taubmans brushout is hand screen printed so that visitors can see the beautiful quality of the paint.
Arent&Pyke’s Sarah-Jane Pyke says, “It’s no secret that we are passionate about colour and Taubmans is an iconic Australian brand with a monumental colour offering. Taubmans came to us with a brave and open brief and it was an opportunity for us to design a space to really experience the colour offering of the Taubmans brand.”
Taubmans invites designEX visitors to immerse themselves in the experience, walk along the length of the wall, find their favourite colour and engage with the wall by photographing their reflection and sharing images using #designEX14 and @TaubmansPro.
