PPG and Taubmans facilities have been designed and are built and operated in accordance with industry best practice in relation to public health and the environment, the conservation of energy, water and raw materials, pollution prevention and always endeavour to make a positive contribution to the surrounding community and to society as a whole.

Paint is a blending process. So there are no by-products as such and any waste generated by washing equipment, etc, is recycled back into the finished product. There has also been considerable work and research conducted in relation to lowering (or where possible, removing) toxic materials from coatings, making them continually easier and safer to manufacture.
