A durable exterior acrylic designed to give a medium profile “bag and paint” effect and bridge hairline cracks in masonry surfaces. May be applied by “mitt” to create special decorative bag and paint effects. Resists efflorescence when used in combination with Moroka Wall Treatment. Recommended for use on flush mortar brick walls. Also suitable for concrete and cement render. Not suitable for timber surfaces.

Uses

Use on flush mortar brick walls. Also suitable for concrete and cement render. DO NOT use on timber suraces.

Surface Preparation

Surface irregularities such as blow holes and profile defects may require patching with Armawall Filler or Patch prior to system application. CAUTION: When applying Moroka Bag and Paint on large or unbroken high rise off form concrete, you will not easily be able to maintain a wet edge. This can cause overlaps to stand out.

New cement render, masonry and concrete

Should be allowed to cure for 28 days. Moroka Bag and Paint must be applied over Moroka Wall Treatment to give maximum resistance to efflorescence.

Off-form cement

Should be thoroughly cleaned by acid etching, water or sand blasting to ensure all bond breaker oils are removed. Moroka Bag and Paint must be applied over Moroka Wall Treatment to give maximum resistance to efflorescence.

Previously painted surfaces – in Sound Condition

Should be scrubbed down with detergent and fresh water, fresh water washed and allowed to dry.

Application

Apply 1 or 2 coats as required of Moroka Bag and Paint using a long nap roller. To create bag and paint effect, move mit in circular motion.

Cleanup

Water, away from drains and watercourses.

Stirring

Stir Moroka Bag and Paint prior to use.

Temperature

Avoid application when temperature is below 10°C and above 35°C.
