Description
A pre-mixed, thin section acrylic render or patching compound. May be applied by hawk and trowel, or texture roller and trowel.

Uses
Recommended for creating a smooth render effect on cement block, AAC Hebel, cement render, fibre cement and previously painted surfaces. Particularly suitable for jobs where rendering trades are not available.

Technical

Colour Range	Off white. May be coloured with machine colourants.
Dry Film Thickness	1 – 2mm.
Drying Time	Recoat 48 hours. Note: drying time may be lengthened in damp, cold or humid conditions.
Profile	Smooth render finish.
Spread Rate	1m2/litre at 1mm dry film thickness.

Surface Preparation

Surfaces to be rendered must be clean and dry.

Acrylic painted surfaces
Confirm that the existing coating is sound by x-cut and tape adhesion test.

Aged enamel
Confirm that the existing coating is sound by x-cut and tape adhesion test. Apply one coat of Taubmans Tradex Tradecoat.

Cement sheeting – recessed edge
Harditex Cement Sheeting must be installed strictly in accordance with the manufacturers written instructions. The jointing system, which must be used is: 1 coat Armawall Glue. Brush Glue 3 cm either side of joint. Apply Armawall Fibreglass Tape. Apply a second coat Armawall Glue. Brush Tape flat after applying Glue. 1 coat Armawall Filler. Leveling recess, flushed to wall line. Minimum drying time 2 hours. Fit perforated angle bead to external / internal corners Refer Taubmans Armawall Glue, Product Data Sheet D224 and Taubmans Armawall Filler, Product Data Sheet D222 for additional information.

New cement render, masonry and concrete
New cement render, masonry and cement surfaces should be allowed to cure for 28 days. Off form concrete should be thoroughly cleaned by acid etching, water or sand blasting to ensure all bond breaker oils are removed. Deep holes or deviations can be filled with Armawall Filler and allowed to dry before application of Armawall Primer thinned 50% with water.

Application

May be applied by conventional trowel technique or by Roll On.

Cleanup
Water.

Roll on application
Apply with loop texture roller, then back trowel to an even sand finish with a plastic trowel. If the roller slips, apply a thin coat coat of Armawall Ultrafine or similar to provide grip.

Stirring
Stir until uniform, preferably with a mechanical stirrer.

Trowel application
Use conventional hawk and trowel method.
