Preparation and Directions
Surface must be clean, dry and free from all surface contamination. Treat mould with bleach then rinse with clean water. Fill in surface defects with a suitable filler or sealant and sand smooth.
Prime with a Taubmans undercoat such as Taubmans® 3 in 1 Prep.
Remove dust and prime the surface with Taubmans® Prep Right Plaster Sealer.
Remove dust and apply White Knight Rust Guard Metal Primer or White Knight Rust Guard True Bite.
Previously Painted Surfaces
Remove all loose and flaking paint. Sand glossy or enamel surfaces thoroughly with 200 grit. Remove surface chalk & powder, dirt, oil, rust and grease. Ensure surface is clean and dry before painting. For best results, apply one coat of Taubmans® 3 in 1 Prep.
Confirm colour before use. Carefully apply two liberal coats of Taubmans Oil Based Enamel by brush or roller. A 7mm mohair roller cover or similar will give best results. Excess film thickness will result in runs and slow drying. Avoid painting late in the afternoon as condensation may affect drying and gloss.
- Stir paint in a circular lifting motion for 5 minutes before use
- Drying time: 4-6 hours (touch dry)

- Do not paint at temperatures below 10°C
Approximately 16m² per litre depending on the nature of the surface. Coverage on rough and/or porous surfaces will be lower.
